The NatraBio brand is an American brand (made in the U.S.A.) and one of the most respected homeopathic brands in the natural products industry. Launched in 1979, the NatraBio brand provides some of the safest, most natural and effective methods for the treatment of illness, the relief of symptoms and the maintenance of good health.
For more than 35 years, the NatraBio brand has been committed to the following principles:
NatraBio provides a range of products—from fully medicated compressed tablets that melt in the mouth, to liquids, cough syrups, throat and nasal sprays, and topical creams. All products are formulated for fast-acting symptom relief and as safe alternatives for every medicine cabinet.
LIQUIDS. In 1979, the NatraBio brand began with a line of liquid homeopathic remedies. The original NatraBio liquid product line was expanded in 1990 to 35 liquids, including glandular products in liquid form.
TABLETS. Botanical Laboratories, the manufacturer of NatraBio products, uses a fully-blended tablet formula where the active ingredients are thoroughly blended before the tablet is compressed, unlike some homeopathic product forms where the medication is coated on the pills. In 2001, a new faster-dissolving tablet formula was created to speed the disintegration of the tablet in the mouth and release the homeopathic medicine for faster absorption. These fast-dissolve tablets become a trend setter for the homeopathic category.
CREAMS. In 1994, Botanical Laboratories launched its manufacturing of NatraBio homeopathic cream products with an arnica cream for injuries, calendula cream for skin rashes and irritations and arthritis cream for joint pain. These creams have a thick, creamy texture and are packaged in pharmaceutical-quality tubes. Creams are an important part of the NatraBio brand with The Arnica Rub as one of the leading products in the category.
COLD & SINUS. In 1996, the brand launched a cold and sinus nasal spray—the first homeopathic cold nasal spray in the U.S. market. It continues to grow the product line, adding new items including cough syrups and a homeopathic throat spray free of phenol, a known carcinogen. By 2000, the line included new chewable tablets and began blister packaging some tablet products for greater consumer convenience.
Homeopathy has its roots in Europe, and many of the homeopathic brands in today’s market are imported from Europe or originated there. The NatraBio brand is all American. With its roots in the Pacific Northwest, it is still manufactured and marketed in America with an intimate understanding of the American consumer’s needs, wants, and desires.
In 1979, Botanical Laboratories was a manufacturer of quality herbal extracts supplying naturopathic physicians throughout the Pacific Northwest. It soon ventured into the field of homeopathy to serve naturopaths and homeopaths using freshly-made tinctures. Botanical Laboratories founded NatraBio as a homeopathic line with a commitment to quality. Originally available only to practitioners, a full line of 24 liquid products was launched in 1979 and soon was made available to the general public through health food stores all across the country.
In 1990, the NatraBio brand added a new chemist and homeopathic drug quality specialist to their team, Mary Beth Watkins, BS, MS, with more than 10 years of homeopathic science, formulation, manufacturing, and quality experience. With expertise in the manufacturing of multiple drug dosage forms, quality control, and assurance as well as extensive materia medica knowledge, she brought a new level of science and technology to the rapidly-expanding company.
By 1992 the popularity of the tablet products had grown and the brand expanded its manufacturing facility, adding in-house tablet manufacturing and quality control capabilities.
Innovation and teamwork remain the cornerstones of the NatraBio brand’s efforts to meet the needs of today’s consumers with natural medicines for every family member.
