The product line includes 65 products offering a variety of benefits from energy and weight management to digestion and cleansing, mood support, memory, men’s health, women’s health and more. Each product retains characteristics that helped establish Pep and Super Pep as category leaders:
Strong brand names helped communicate benefits to shoppers. Colon Clenz is perhaps one of our most popular products and is but one example. Distinctive packaging brightens up shelves and is easily noticed, such as Happy Camper or Cobra. And the blended formulas deliver noticeable results, satisfying customers.
In July of 2012, with the acquisition of TriMedica,Inc., an additional 32 products were rebranded and added to the Natural Balance line.
Starting in 2014, several brands will be consolidated under the Natural Balance umbrella. These brands include Action Labs, Natural Max and Baywood. When the consolidation is complete, Natural Balance will have a robust product line consisting of just under 200 products.
All other products in the line will continue to carry the Natural Balance branding only.
In 1983, Mark and Caroline Owens founded a company in Castle Rock, Colorado called “Pep Products,” with the introduction of the original herbal energizer called “Pep.” Its unique name and bright, bold packaging captured the attention of shoppers who enjoyed its quick, natural boost of energy.
